1. The Business
The Fire Services Fund-raising Shop CIC (FSFS CIC) is a not-for-profit company (a Community Interest Company) which is run by volunteer serving and retired members of the Emergency services with the sole intent of creating funds for the Fire Fighters Charity Reg. No. 1093387. The Company details are:

2. The Shop
It is a retail outlet specialising in only fire service themed products such as branded clothing, retirement gifts, personal equipment, children’s toys and uniforms and other memorabilia.

3. Prices and Postage & Packing
All prices quoted on FSFS CIC website include VAT (if applicable), but not any postage and packaging (p&p) charges
We have tried to be even handed with postage and packing, as we believe that one standard charge is unfair to both the customer and ourselves. The charge made by this company is basically in line with Royal Mail's Second Class delivery, but with the total cost of the order also being taken into consideration. This means that there is, in some cases where the order is lightweight or over a certain certain total price, no or a very small p&p charge .
4. Payment and Data Protection
The FSFS CIC committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information collected about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The FSFS CIC collects information about you to administer your order and to provide you with the best possible service and does not make our mailing lists available to third parties. The information collected about you includes your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. You can check the information that we hold about you by Contact Us. The FSFS CIC places the utmost importance in ensuring security of your data. All credit card details are processed through a secure server. This secure server encrypts all information before it is transferred from your computer. This service is provided by PAYPAL, a leader in internet secure processing, who transmit your details direct to our card acquirers. At no time are your card details accessible directly by us, or outside of this secure and encrypted environment.
Orders placed through the web-site can be paid using Credit and Debit Cards via the PAYPAL service. Payments (including Postage and packing) are normally accepted at the same time with the orders, unless previously agreed with FSFS CIC. FSFS CIC can also accept the cards when placing telephone orders and will also accept cheques sent by post, but will not send the order until the cheque has been received.
Postage and packing will be charged for each order. When payment for the consumer’s order is received by FSFS CIC, the order will be sent the using most economical way (usually Royal Mail or other delivery company). If the order is urgent or requires an irregular delivery method, any extra cost in delivery will be paid by the consumer and is non-refundable.
Orders (if the items are in stock) will normally be sent within 3 working days and at the same time a Notification of Dispatch will be sent to the customer via Email. If the order has not been received within 5 working days of receiving the notification please do Contact Us. If there is any problem in fulfilling the customer’s order, the consumer will be informed within 5 working days, either by email or telephone. The FSFS CIC retains the right of delivering the order within the maximum time period of 28 days from the date of the original order was placed and cannot be held responsible or offer compensation for any disappointment endured if we fail to meet our designated delivery time. All orders are subject to availability. However we undertake to keep you informed of any delays and you have the option to cancel your order at any time.
6. Cancellation of Order
Upon delivery of the order, the consumer has the right to “change of mind” and to return the order within seven days and a full refund paid as soon as it is practical, but within 28days of the order. If you encounter any problems or require any advice regarding your purchase please do Contact Us but please do not return any product not without contacting us first, as we are a charitable based company this will give us the opportunity to find the most economical returns method therefore minimising the costs involved to us. This right does not to extend to products that are made to the customer’s own specification such as B A tallies, unless there is a fault in manufacture or the details are not identical to the original order.
From the time of receipt until the order or part order has been collected or posted the items remain in your care and are your responsibility for any damage or theft, importantly the FSFS CIC requires documented evidence of postage or collection when considering the refund payable.
We regard the satisfaction of each and every customer as central to our business and will always give any complaint the highest priority. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
